Bursa Malaysia recently launched its Business Sustainability Programme in line with its call to Malaysian public-listed companies to integrate sustainability elements into their business strategies. Together with this, the country’s regulator also launched Powering Business Sustainability – A Guide for Directors, which aims to assist directors in understanding the value of good sustainability practices so that sustainability will become a boardroom agenda. Global Reporting Initiative & Carbon Disclosure Project Release Linkage Document

The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) recently announced the release of a linkage document between GRI’s Reporting Guidelines and CDP’s 2010 Questionnaire. Disclosure of greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) and reporting on climate change is becoming increasingly important around the world. The linkage document outlines how reporters can efficiently use or adapt the same data in both reporting processes. Read more
