Msian workers motivated to work for share in employer’s equity

A recent survey revealed that more than three-quarters of the Malaysian workforce believe they will be more productive if they have some form of ownership in their employers’ business. Workforce solution firm Kelly Services, in their Kelly Global Workforce Index (KGWI), found that 85 per cent of respondents felt that profit-sharing or an ownership stake would motivate them to perform better. Microsoft Malaysia offers tech skills & training to nonprofits

Microsoft Malaysia recently announced donations amounting to RM1.7 million cash and software grants to three Malaysian nonprofits. Its legal and corporate affairs director, Jasmine Begum, was reported to have said the grants would support the nonprofits to deliver technology skills and training through a network of more than 29 community technology learning centres.
