The phthalate-free plasticizer Mesamoll® II manufactured by German specialty chemicals group LANXESS Mesamoll® II has received food contact approval from the US Food and Drug Administration(FDA) since 2007. A few months back, a leading telco asked me to write an article on their contributions to the environment. I was stumped. Tried as a might, I just couldn’t find a convincing angle for this particular telco.
And in my research, I stumbled upon a myriad of information on the hazards of Personal Digital Assistants (PDA) on the environment. It seems that despite its acronym, PDAs do not display any public affection for the environment at all. Read more

As economies in the region begin to pick up, more consumers are feeling a tug at their heartstrings and loosening their purse strings, according to the latest survey by MasterCard Worldwide. Some 55% of consumers surveyed across Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, are planning to make a charitable donation in the next six months, up from 53% at the end of last year and 50% in mid 2009.
