Welcome to the Second International Singapore Compact CSR Summit. To our overseas guests, welcome to Sentosa.
Before we start this conference, on behalf of Singapore Compact for CSR, I would like to extend our deepest condolences to Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew and his family on the passing of his beloved wife. We will remember Mrs Lee who in her own quiet ways, modeled for us how to live and care for our community with grace and dignity. She has been a wonderful “Mother of Singapore” and we honour her with our gratitude and respect. Read more

Seven Singapore companies will be honoured for the first time for their special contributions to Corporate Social Responsibility, against a backdrop of CSR picking up momentum here. Five companies will receive awards and two others Special Mention at the Second International Singapore Compact Summit to be opened by Dr Yaacob Ibrahim, Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, on 6 October at Resorts World Singapore. CSE Joins the UN Global Compact Leaders’ Summit

The United Nations Global Compact hosted its tri-annual Leaders’ Summit in New York, USA on 24 June 2010. Chaired by UN Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon, the UN Global Compact Leaders’ Summit brought together more than 1,000 selected leaders from all sectors to enhance the role of responsible business and investment.
