The iconic FedEx Envelope, which is already made from 100% recycled content and is 100% recyclable, is getting another environmentally-friendly boost today.  FedEx Express, an operating company of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX), is launching a carbon-neutral shipping program for its most widely-used packaging solution for document shipping, making it the first global express transportation company to offer carbon-neutral envelope shipping at no extra charge to the customer.  Read more

Driving for the Future: FedEx Points the Way

FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company, recently launched an Eco-drive campaign in 10 Asia-Pacific markets:  Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.  The aim of the Eco-drive program is to improve fuel efficiency by changing the daily driving habits of hundreds of FedEx drivers. It’s Earth ‘Week’ for Standard Chartered

The country’s oldest bank Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad (Standard Chartered) has begun its ‘extended’ Earth Hour 2012 celebration. Starting Monday 26 March, the Bank turns off the lights at its Head Office at Menara Standard Chartered on Jalan Sultan Ismail and its 40 branches nationwide, a week earlier than the 31 March global celebration. MasterCard and SMU Announce Recipients of MasterCard MBA Scholarships for Women 2012

MasterCard Worldwide recently announced the recipients of the MasterCard MBA Scholarships for Women 2012. Two MBA students from Singapore Management University (SMU), Akshita Goyal and Wu Jiachao, have been offered full scholarships as part of a three-year collaboration between MasterCard and SMU. Under the collaboration, MasterCard will make a donation of up to S$120,000 in total from 2011 to 2013 to support two scholarships per year. Read more
