SPCA Selangor Plans Green Shelter

A revolutionary green animal shelter is in the works for SPCA Selangor (Malaysia) by the end of this year. The society just obtained its title deed for the land a year ago, and now hopes to build its ‘Eco SPCA’, inspired by Maddie’s Adoption Center in San Francisco SPCA, that looks more like an apartment building than a conventional animal shelter. There are 21 “doggie apartments” and 67 “kitty lofts” where animals stroll among television sets, furniture, rugs, toys and even hammock-style dog beds. Read more
