Brighter smiles for haj pilgrims

Colgate, a leader in dental care, will give haj pilgrims another reason to smile by returning as a contributor to the Sahabat Korporat Tabung Haji (Tabung Haji Corporate Partner) programme for 1431H. In line with Colgate’s partnership with Tabung Haji, the company will contribute a complete Oral Care Travel Kit to the 37,000 Tabung Haji pilgrims this year. The kit consists of two units of Colgate toothpaste (Colgate Maximum Cavity Protection 75g and Colgate Kayu Sugi 75g), one unit of Colgate Extra Clean toothbrush, and 2 units of 25ml Colgate Plax Ice mouth rinse. This year’s campaign aims to collect at least RM150,000 from the proceeds of special charity toothpaste packs throughout the month of Ramadan and Syawal for 15 charity homes throughout Peninsular and East Malaysia. Other annual community activity initiated by Colgate includes the ‘Bright Smiles, Bright Futures’ programme which provides oral care education materials and free product samples to all Malaysian public primary schools, reaching more than 630,000 schoolchildren annually. Colgate also hosts the Oral Health Month in partnership with the Malaysian Dental Association to provide free dental check-ups, education and awareness on proper oral health care to Malaysians throughout the country.
