For the third biennial Amsterdam Global Conference, GRI has set the challenge of crafting an action agenda for sustainability reporting for the next decade. How can we make sure that by 2020 ESG reporting is as mainstream and common as financial reporting? Under the motto “Rethink. Rebuild. Report” 200 global leaders from business, politics and civil society will share their view and debate in more than 50 sessions on how to achieve a transition to a sustainable economy.
Great networking opportunities
Besides invaluable information and food for thought, the 3-day-conference will also provide numerous networking opportunities. Participants so far include representatives from Bayer, Bertelsmann, BHP Billiton, Det Norske Veritas, Dong Energy, Harvard Business School, Nestlé, Nokia, PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, SAP, Vattenfall and Volkswagen.
