Responsible Recovery from the Global Crisis
Following the success of last year’s International CSR conference, OWW Consulting, a leader in CSR in Asia and the Middle East, in partnership with the Malaysian AIDS Foundation (MAF) and EU-Malaysian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (EU-MCCI), brings one of the largest CSR conferences in South East Asia to Kuala Lumpur.
Based on the theme “Responsible Recovery from the Global Crisis”, the conference will bring experts in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) and Community Engagement from all over the world to share their expertise and experience here in Malaysia. More that 400 delegates are expected from Europe, USA, Middle East and Asia to benefit from the second International CSR Conference 2009, which will be held at the Renaissance Hotel, Kuala Lumpur from the 3rd until the 7th of August.

Topical and engaging topics covering micro-financing, faith-based investment, building responsible investment funds in Asia and attracting investors using world class CSR reporting within the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI-G3) standards will be discussed in detail. This year the Conference aims to educate community groups on the importance and advantages of building “Blue Chip” Community Based Organisations (CBOs).
